Back with another incredible release; yesterday, dazzling alt-pop artist Alt Bloom delivered his vibrant and poignant new single I Believe that he released in collaboration with National Geographic and the Launch of their Planet Possible Initiative which is aimed at empowering and inspiring people to tread more lightly on the planet. With an incredible and poignant message, and written by Ethan Thompson – better known by his artist name Alt Bloom; the track was released just in time for Earth Day and acts as a valiant cry for people to take the environment, sustainability and climate change more seriously.
A personal and significant track for Thompson, who has a deep connection to the planet and affinity to the outdoors, I Believe follows on from his previous release Tired and is the latest in his series of incredible 2021 releases. Beginning with a soft and rhythmic instrumental that instantly brings you deep into the song’s immersive sonic world, Thompson’s gentle yet bold vocals emerge onto the scene with dynamic power and energy. Delivering an emotive and poignant vibe, the dazzling melody is a perfect mix of up-tempo and additive pop beats, alongside an ambient aura, that gives off a scenic and natural atmosphere; perfect to reflect the meaning behind the song.
“Whether it be a music video, a photo or anything else, the goal for my project is to always incorporate nature. I really wanted that to come through in this song.”
