Over the last few years, Australian singer-songwriter PG Naylor has been building a rich and alluring sound. With his debut EP ‘Sanctuary’ garnering more than 100,000 streams since its release, he is now looking to continue that positive ascent on the shimmering new groove ‘Sensible’.
Much like everything in his canon so far, ‘Sensible’ continues that warm and effervescent 60s pop-rock groove he is known for. With his light and captivating voice layered over a broad and compelling production, reminiscent of heyday-era Pink Floyd, he sweeps and swoons with way through this enigmatic new gem.
Speaking about the song, “’Sensible’ is different from my regular rock releases. It is more pop-easy listening and it is about my frustration with people who procrastinate instead of ‘just doing it’”.
His sound may be layered within a nostalgic lens, but PG Naylor has managed to give it a contemporary sound throughout. Inventive and passionate, we can’t wait to hear what he comes out with next.
