Charlie Freeman – ‘It’s Christmas (Let’s Be Kids For A Day)’

‘snowfall, phone calls, catching up with the family’

Kicking off the festive season and ending the year on a jolly note, multi-talented artist Charlie Freeman is delivering the release of his exciting new Christmas single It’s Christmas (Let’s Be Kids For A Day)A slice of festive cheer that is definitely needed this year, the track is finally getting its official release after being teased and having its soft release last year over lockdown. With an exciting year ahead, the single comes in advance of Charlie’s forthcoming album Freedom that is set for release next Summer. Truly some of his best work, the album is set to be a stunning collection of tracks that are filled with notes of pure indie pop rock perfection.

A perfect track for the holidays, It’s Christmas (Let’s Be Kids For A Day) delivers a mellow and ambient energy that radiates warmth and positivity, and some much needed comfort and cheer. Providing a sense of escapism, and bringing us into a musical wonderland; the song is filled with delicate percussion notes, soft piano melodies, and even the sound of sleigh bells, filling the glimmering soundscape. Placed alongside Charlie’s warm and honeyed vocals, the song radiates the energy of a classic Christmas track; reminiscent of the likes of Michael Bublé. And adding to the release, he has also delivered some stunning visuals to accompany the single that feature Charlie wandering around the Christmassy city at night.

“There are two songs I have always dreamed to achieve: a Christmas song and a Bond song! There’s always room for an uplifting, positive message and a big sing along chorus … after all the stuff that’s gone down, it’s time to get happy and celebrate”.
