Delivered through a hazy, and suitably dreamy, lens, Chris D’Lima shares his new track ‘Dreams’ – a melancholic ode to finding a path in life. Layers of cinematic strings, acoustic guitar strums and celestial harmonies echo throughout the track as Chris’ calming vocals glide on top.
Speaking about the new track, Chris D’Lima shares: “This song was written about 5 years ago, at a point in my life where I didn’t know what I wanted or who I wanted to be. The song reflects my state of mind at the time, giving up on my dreams for the short term as I had lost hunger and motivation for everything and knew that I needed to step away from the pressure I put on myself to just figure out what makes me happy. I guess I’m still figuring that out.”
Classically trained in cello and piano, Chris has been playing and performing since the age of 9. After university, he threw himself head first into music and gigged non-stop all over London. Chris has notably gained airtime on BBC Radio 6 and played some live shows supporting the likes of The Horrors and MJ Cole.
