Having already established himself as a bright and inventive name on the rise thanks to his recently released EP ‘Kid From Krik’, Brazilian-Spanish DJ and producer CILUS THE KID is back to his vibrant ways as he delivers the sweeping new single ‘Player Of The Match’.
Inspired by his love for football and the excitement around the World Cup right now, ‘Player Of The Match’ sits as the perfect anthem to bring some much-needed flair to this tournament. Filled with sultry rhythms and smooth grooves, this one will have you shaking your hips in no time.
Speaking about the new release, he said, “I’ve always dreamt of producing a song for my favourite sport. Like any good Brazilian, I follow every competition and, while watching the Champions League Final, a melody came to me which I thought would be great for the World Cup. I started with keys and a banjo, and then produced it through my DAW – an Ableton Live. I feel incredibly proud of myself for being able to tick off one of my music career goals.”
