Berlin-based artist Cris Cap is set to delight fans with his much-anticipated second EP, ‘Unrequited,’ dropping on June 28th. This fresh collection of tracks showcases Cap’s unique blend of jazz-infused soul, pop, and R&B, capturing listeners’ hearts from the first drum fill to the final vocal harmony. The EP gathers his recent singles along with a joyous, grooving title track, promising an immersive musical experience. Each track is meticulously crafted, featuring intricate instrumentation and warm piano tones that bring a sense of solace and reflection.
“I am thrilled to finally share my musical work of the past year,” Cap explains. “Each track tells a story of love and emotional resilience. It has been a long way. It was just wonderful working with great musicians and friends in Germany and amazing singers from the UK and USA. The EP features six tracks with five distinctive singers, all showcasing my blend of funk, soul, and contemporary R&B, with the title track ‘Unrequited’ making its debut, featuring a collaboration with Brooklyn’s Anna Teers.”
