Following on from the release of their latest single Over It, alongside some incredible remixes of some of their hit tracks, including All This Time and Catching Feelings, last year; today, New Zealand four-piece band Drax Project are back at it again with the release of their latest track and first single of the year, Crazy. Showcasing a slightly different side to their usual sound and style, and starting the new year on a high note, Crazy is vibrant and up-tempo dance-led track that is perfect to get you over the gloomier winter months. Still maintaining the band’s signature artistry and vibe, Crazy is a perfect taste of what we can expect from Drax Project this 2022 as they look set for another incredible year.
Kicking things off with some electro-synth-led vocals from lead singer Shaan to open the track, they swiftly transition to his usual, smooth cadences and are accompanied by a rhythmic drum beat and bassline that runs throughout. Infectious and captivating, the track brings listeners into a vibrant sonic landscape that places Shaan’s vocals and an addictive dance-led instrumental to the forefront. To add to the release, the band also dropped a brand new music video for the track that features them in a funky and luminescent underground space where they are vibing out to the music; accompanied by some incredible dancers and slick choreography. Effortlessly cool, the visuals perfectly reflect the easy-going, fun and dance-y nature of the track.
