Shortly following teaser single ‘Start Agin’, Flores Blue is back with the awaited release of her new EP, ‘Treehouse’. With a fast-rising career so far, including receiving backing from BBC 6 Music, the EP is an emboldening body of work, the sign of an artist who is just getting started.
Consisting of four tracks, the EP launches across the soundwaves with opener ‘Vegas’. Taking cues from the likes of Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo, the single holds that rapturous emotional retrospect that pulls you in and keeps you wanting more. With a clean-cut production style, whilst still possessing that authentic grit, courtesy of producer Noah Sparks, the EP also features ‘Trampolining’, the latest single to be taken from the project.
Commenting on the release, she adds, Reflecting on the track, she explains, “‘Trampolining’ reminisces on childhood memories of long summers in the garden. It reflects on the passing of time and how friends grow apart without even realising. We had everything and nothing at the same time.”
