Garth Adam releases the breezy three-track EP ‘Say You’ll Come With Me’

Beginning his journey of solo artistry in the early 2000s, Garth Adam has gone on to create a vast discography from his home in east Australia. Creating a unique blend of folk, alt-rock and pop, he injects his songs with a wistful joy and themes of personal development. Garth’s music feels like a journey, and he brings audiences into that space, offering up impressive songwriting as he does so.

Garth’s latest release has arrived as the three-track EP ‘Say You’ll Come With Me’. Across the project, the artist delivers contemplative lyricism with a unique and dreamy vocal tone. Flowing piano melodies, rhythmic guitar chords and light drum lines all support Garth’s nostalgic essence as he bounces through themes of travelling, love and bumps along the road.

Garth explains, “It was a happy session in Perth recording the EP and that’s reflected in the way it turned out,” continuing, “Melvin Tree, my longtime friend Dave Kelly and I play all the instruments. We work through the songs in a circle in the studio and once they are right, we record them on an old Studer analog desk. I was lucky to have Lisa and Keely O’Brien to add the wonderful backing vocals. This EP comes from a particularly fruitful creative period for me, during which I’ve spent more time writing and recording than ever before.”
