HARRY POTTER AT HOME: PODCAST

The boy who lived is back! Truly the gift that keeps on giving; for all of us who can’t get enough of the Harry Potter universe, the books are back with a new revival! However this time, the books about our lightning scarred hero are back in podcast form. Earlier this month, it was announced that as part of Harry Potter At Home (read more about the brand new Harry Potter At Home project, here); the books would once again come to life through a new series of online podcasts and readings.

Starting right from the beginning with The Philosopher’s Stone; the podcast sees some of the best-loved people across the entertainment industry, music and sport, lending their voices to deliver readings of the well-loved story. Taking things chapter by chapter; each podcast episode will see a different person narrate the next chapter of the story, which will come alongside a visual reading.

And now that the brand new podcast is here; starting at the beginning with Chapter 1: The Boy who Lived, it’s only fitting that Harry Potter himself, Mr. Dan Radcliffe, should be the one to kick things off! Dan Radcliffe is the first among a star studded line up; with David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne and Stephen Fry (who already voices the audiobooks), just some of the stars who have so far been announced to voice a podcast episode.

So if you fancy giving the books another read while in quarantine, head over to the podcast on Spotify hereand listen to the books instead; narrated by some of your favourite personalities. And keep an eye on JK Rowling’s and The Wizarding World socials: @jk_rowling @wizardingworld; for updates on who else’s voice you’ll hear make an appearance on the podcast!
