British singer/songwriter KEKA is back, with a new single ‘Little Party’. A blend of pop, R&B and old-school soul is infused with her rich Kosovar heritage. A signature style that brings expressive arrangements, smooth vocal tones and a fresh interpolation of the 2010s anthem ‘A Little Party Never Killed Nobody’, KEKA rides the line between infectious and graceful, her performance is effortlessly elegant, and supported by an easy-going backdrop of instrumentation. Lighthearted, feel-good vibes are given in spades, complementing the themes of letting loose and allowing love to lead the moment.
The artist explains, “We wrote the record just by jamming with my manager and producer. I loved how the song gave off such a positive vibe, but also had that feeling of letting go. As I was humming and singing along, I started freestyling the lyrics and recording them in a voice memo. Honestly, I was laughing while singing because it felt like I was venting my real feelings—feeling burnt out and tired of the routine, but still loving music. Sometimes, you just can’t take everything seriously, and you just want to party. So I decided to let loose and turn that whole freestyle into the song. The song has this happy energy that brings everything and everyone together, and it just makes me feel good.”
Often delving into identity, love and resilience in her lyrics, KEKA prides herself on crafting emotional connections with her refreshing takes. An electrifying stage presence and sultry behind the microphone, KEKA looks to make an impact where she goes.
