As an artist manager, label founder and singer-songwriter, Kiara Laetitia has seen impressive chart positions across the world and guided independent artists to fruitful careers. Currently releasing her solo music under Tank Girl Media Group, her own label, the artist is making a return after a six-year hiatus.
This time away has not been wasted, however, with Kiara continuing to help fellow musicians, publishing her first book and running the first all-female virtual festival, Online Female Fest.
Kiara Laetitia’s solo career now makes a re-emergence, with her impassioned rendition of Linkin Park’s ‘In The End’, showcasing both her emotional range and powerful singing voice. Stripping back the original for a more acoustic aesthetic, Kiara angelically soars above an elegant but driven piano part and the occasional pulse of high-frequency strings. Embracing the poetry in the lyricism, Kiara puts herself into each and every word, almost taking on a more spoken delivery in some places, before cascading into gorgeous swells of vocal dynamism.
She adds a comment on the track’s personal meaning, “I’ve always loved In The End since day one when I found the video on MTV. It wasn’t an easy moment for me, I was living at home with my parents, panic attacks were so bad I could barely leave the house and no one could understand what I had. Chester’s voice immediately gave me goosebumps, I felt like it ripped my soul in pieces but at the same time it gave me hope. In The End to me is the battle with my demons”
