Lovesick are a new band made up of experienced musicians hoping to make a splash with an innovative new sound. Made up of Goolkasian, of The Elevator Drops, and Heather Joy Morgan, the pair also bring along guitarists Adam Wade (Funeral Party) and Palana (Palana vs The Man) for added instrumentation.
Their debut album ‘Hoping This Is The End’ showcases the essence of this new musical idea. Songwriting brings together inspirations from multiple decades of music aesthetics, creating a blend that is dreamy, hazy but wholly original. The use of electric and acoustic guitars is contrasted with daring synth design and vocal performances are passionate, nostalgic and laced in an ethereal wash. Lovesick have shown already to be making an impact with plenty of tastemakers, definitely one to watch.
