Luxury Goods releases mesmerising new single ‘Tiny Moving Parts’

Luxury Goods are quickly shaping up to be one of the most exciting, emerging acts in the UK. With a mix of different inspirations, their music is a melting pot of different musical ideas, forming together to create their own unique sound. This sound is tried and tested, and their previous singles have been received with a warm welcome.

Luxury Goods are now back with a new irresistible offering ‘Tiny Moving Parts.’ The track is simply mesmerising and stands up as a proud showcase of their signature sound. Synths glisten in the mix and ebb and flow between intricate guitar parts. Drums are simple and provide the perfect foundation for this colourful canvas. Leonie’s vocals are situated on top of the mix in their playful but raw style. Her vocals turn throughout the track, fluctuating between spoken word and her signature style that features irresistible, melodic vocal flicks.

The track tackles the hard topic of self-doubt. Leonie tells us: “Tiny Moving Parts came from a place where I was sick and tired of always tearing myself down. We can be very vicious to ourselves, and have a lot of internalised expectations of who we should be and what we should look like. It takes a lot of strength to tune out the external opinions we stack up in our minds and to reclaim our confidence.”

As always Luxury Goods want their listeners to take something away from the track. “Tiny Moving Parts is to remind everyone who needs it that we’re allowed to move on from that voice, and that self-reflection shouldn’t turn into self-hatred.”

With support from HMUK’s Do It Differently Fund and recorded at Steel City Studio, Luxury Goods is getting ready to release their debut EP. They cite this single as the most fun to record. “This was the last song we wrote and recorded for the EP and it was my favourite one to do. It felt like the cherry on the pie we needed and, together with ‘Again’, it properly inspired the band name ‘Luxury Goods’.” With their previous single ‘Again’ gaining great exposure, we can’t wait to watch Luxury Goods be propelled forward.
