Max Sarre shares uplifting sibling solidarity in new single ‘Brother’

Performing for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, releasing multiple acclaimed EPs and working with industry figures such as Thomas Harvey and Gianpaolo Pasquile, London-based indie-pop artist Max Sarre creates a constant stream of hits.

Released through Just Play Records, Max Sarre’s new single ‘Brother’ is the kind of genuine appreciation that would strike at the heart of any sibling relationship. Taking a topic so many can relate to, the fights, the bickering and the competing over parents, but morphing it into something rooted in the most unconditional love and support there is.

Highlighting the struggles and the triumphs, Max shares how unbreaking their bond has become, and writes in solidarity of his loyalty. The music is nostalgic and reflective, brimming with upbeat pop and sprinkling of indie and electronica for the perfect glittering balance. Breaking through the moments of melancholy to find uplifting chorus after uplifting chorus, Max Sarre’s honesty is a truly heartwarming musical experience.

“’Brother’ is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written, and it’s the first single from my new era!” Max explains. “I wrote it as an ode to my brother; despite all the times we fight and ‘hate’ one another, I know that we’ll always be there for each other through thick and thin. If you have a sibling, this song is for you.”
