And today, we’re back with another breakdown of some of our favourite new releases and great new additions for your upcoming summer playlists.
Continuing to make waves in the pop scene with her vibrant, noughties-esque melodies and sassy lyricism, Flo Gallop is back with her second release of the year; delivering her brand new single Window Shopping earlier this week. A sunning and up-tempo summer pop banger, Window Shopping is all about the taboo of flirting when you’re already in a relationship. And with a new music video for the track coming soon, we’ve got more exciting things to look forward to from Flo this summer.
Putting in his bid for the song of the summer; after dropping several teasers on socials, San Francisco-born singer-songwriter Marc E Bassy has finally released his brand new hit, See Me Out. With a funky and rhythmic beat that runs throughout, and Bassy’s signature smooth and soulful vocals at the forefront of the track, there is no doubt that See Me Out will be a huge summer hit that you’ll no doubt have on repeat all summer long!
Late last month, Bristol-based indie four-piece band Chasing Kites delivered their first release of the year, Two Towns. A perfect addition to their steadily growing discography, Two Towns is their dynamic and emotive new single that delves into a narrative all about the end of a relationship that has been brought about due to being separated by distance, and the aftermath of an unwanted breakup. With exciting things ahead, they are certainly one to watch.
Hailing from Nashville, by way of Las Vegas; country singer-songwriter Siena certainly hasn’t disappointed with the release of her latest new single Moment Or A Memory, released late last week. With a pounding and poignant melody, accompanied by Siena’s delicate but hard-hitting vocals, Moment Or A Memory is a classic country-pop banger that explores the complex landscape of navigating a new relationship. Taking listeners on a journey with her introspective storytelling and captivating vocals, this is certainly not one to miss.
Lipstereo – Feedback (Live Version)
Earlier this spring, Australian indie rock four-piece band Lipstereo dropped the live version of their 2022 single Feedback. A stunning live performance of the hit song; the band continue to showcase their talent and artistry, and deliver the captivating and addictive indie rock sound they are rapidly becoming known for. A fantastic counterpart to the studio version, the live track showcases a raw and edgier side to the single, and incorporates a new level of emotion and energy into the performance.
