Following the release of their latest single Better as Friends earlier this year; last week, New York City based alt-pop band Eighty Ninety shared the brand new music video to accompany the track.
A spectacular, cinematic visual; the video delivers a compilation of expertly crafted shots and sequences, maintaining a beautiful minimalist aesthetic. And in keeping with the band’s artistic style, the new music video is stunningly simple, yet effective.
With a mass of scenic imagery; the video transitions between picturesque rooftop backdrops, where we see Abner (vocals, production) give a solo performance against the enchanting New York City skyline – perfectly backlit by a soft sunset and vibrant lens flares. And the intimate interior of the studio, where the band come together to perform the song and immerse themselves in the music.
