Orlando based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Kaelin Ellis has released his new EP ‘REMNANTS’ (listen here), which follows hot on the heels of his NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. The five-track project is an amalgamation of elements from lo-fi hip-hop, electronic and R&B amongst other influences, which Ellis moulds into a genre of his own.
Featuring nuanced instrumentation and co-production from Outlaw the Artist and seeyousoon member Kkami, Kaellin Ellis cohesively pulls together a kaleidoscope of different sounds on ‘REMNANTS’. The project eludes a fresh, chilled-out feeling and sounds effortlessly on-trend whilst still being entirely original. A master of his crafts, the future ahead looks very bright for the multi-talented Kaellin Ellis.
