Perfectparachutepicture release hard-hitting alt-rock EP ‘White Walls’

Upcoming duo Perfectparachutepicture have made a name for themselves as creators of hard-hitting alt-rock with melodic vocals and authentic lyricism. Their highly-anticipated new EP ‘White Walls’ is no exception to this, solidifying the duo’s signature sound with four dark and dynamic tracks. Alongside driving percussion, distorted riffs and intoxicating hooks, Perfectparachutepicture injects a dose of vulnerability into their music, as their lyrics explore themes of mental health and loneliness.

Revealing more about their new release, the band says: “‘White Walls’ is an EP that was written and recorded when the world felt like it was falling apart. Our inspiration for this collection of songs was life through our very restricted viewpoint. The EP is our way of stumbling through a bad situation and not actually knowing if you’ve come out better, or if you’re just used to it. The songs are also about hope, and the anger that you can sometimes feel when you want to break free from something that’s weighing you down. This EP is about never giving up, but also about not actually feeling too shit when you haven’t actually gotten to the end.”

Sheffield-hailing Perfectparachutepicture is formed of Kyle Ernest on drums and vocals, and Edward James on bass. They have received acclaim from BBC Music Introducing, as well as airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music and international radio support. Recent singles from their ‘White Walls’ EP have been placed on Spotify editorial playlists, including All New Rock, New Punk Tracks and The Punk List. Set for big things, Perfectparachutepicture are just getting started. Check out their new EP here.
