Flooded with high octane synths, pulsating beats and driving basslines, Punt Gun’s new release ‘RMXd’ launches their punk-rock debut album into an electronic dance sphere, featuring producers Future Funk Squad, Glen Nicholls and Janette Slack. Focus track ‘B1g Bang’ represents the essence of the album, offering both clubroom vibes and casual listening alike.
Producer Future Funk Squad spoke about the collaboration: “I first heard ‘B1g Bang’ and totally loved the energy and originality of the track and knew I could add my heavy breaks spin on it to deliver something big and fresh!!”
Two of the remixes from the album, ‘B1g Bang’ and ‘Cyber Dreams’, were played by The Crystal Method in the US, and Janette Slack interviewed Punt guns for Clockenflap Music in Hong Kong in honour of the release. Punt Guns are producing a sound unlike anything else on the market, and ‘RMXd’ offers another dose of the genre-bending dynamism we can count on this duo to deliver.
