Quiet Houses are an indie-duo the hail from Edinburgh. Despite being made up of just two musicians, their music is engaging, immersive and pays homage to many different genres and influences. Their latest offering comes in the form of single “Kiss and Run,” and has been taken from their upcoming E.P “Since July.”
“Kiss and Run” is a warmly-penned new single from Quiet Houses. Featuring ethereal but immersive instrumentation, “Kiss and Run” will be sure to leave an impression. On top, vocals land softly and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.
Speaking further about the single they share: “Kiss and Run is a song about not being ready to get into a relationship again. We tend to gravitate towards those messy, inbetween, ‘hard to put your finger on’ feelings when we are writing. Kiss and Run focuses on the conflicting feelings that can arise when seeing someone new. It’s about wanting to fall in love again but being scared to lose your main character, single girl energy.”
