Bursting back on the scene with a fiery, magnetic blend of rap and urban pop, Richard’s new single ‘Steady’ is a whirlwind of atmospheric soundscapes. Underpinned with electro-style instrumentals, the explosive track ebbs and flows, with its climactic melodies creating an intense and sonic experience. Richard’s powerful and soul coated vocals take centre stage, as his introspective lyrics reflect on poignant topics throughout. Richard’s style has been well honed and artistically molded to perfection, with his memorable brand setting him firmly apart.
Discussing his new single, Richard said: “2020 has been quite the interesting time for all of us. When I got this instrumental, I was not sure of where to go with it or when I would use it, but the times spoke directly to me. I wanted to create something that promotes well being in the face of adversity and elicits a feel-good feeling despite circumstances, so I wrote Steady to help me cope with all of the injustice, confusion, etc. of today’s times.”
From defying all odds, writing and singing covers of amazing songs at the age of 6, Richard is hoping to win the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans and music lovers across the world with the desire to become a household name. Richard brings forth effortless delivery of amazing vocal dexterity, punch lines and soulful notes that connects with people from all walks of life.
The St. Louis based singer and songwriter is on a mission to create irreplaceable moments that capture the essence of pain and sometimes having plain old fun. Greatly inspired by Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Prince, Jay Z and Guns n Roses (to name a few), Richard wants to show the world his infusion of rap and urban pop. Richard’s sonorous voice is perfectly blended with flexibility and quick transitions of incredible notes and punchlines, and he hopes to stun audiences, drawing them back in for more.
