The Dockers release joyful new track ‘I Knew Him (well?) Horatio’

Upcoming Australian duo The Dockers turn heads with their new single ‘I Knew Him (well?) Horatio’, taken from their upcoming sophomore EP. So far, the duo have begun to make a name for themselves in their local scene conquering live stages across Sydney. They’ve headlined stages and played sets at Red Bar, also selling out Factory Theatre and La La’s Wollongong twice.

Following on from their debut EP ‘Yahtzee’ which has now reached over 80,000 streams, ‘‘I Knew Him (well?) Horatio’ is a breezy, uplifting track that engages with impactful subject matter. The single engages with the suicide of a few close friends followed by an existential crisis, with a strong motif of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’. The Dockers say of the track: “It’s an existential crisis, dark, but sheds a lot of light on that it’s temperamental. Definitely the best song I‘ll ever bloody write.”

As you can hear it’s an absolute bop and they are certainly a duo to keep an ear out for in 2021!
