With a series of incredible releases under their belt this year, south-west London indie-rock band The Motive are back with their brand new single Caught Up.
Back with another incredible release, four-piece indie-rock band The Motive have been going from strength to strength this year; honing and developing their sonic sound and style. And today, they are back with a brand new single Caught Up. The follow on from their earlier double-sided release You/ Meet Me In The Pouring Rain, that delivered a more slow-tempo and emotive indie-led energy; Caught Up moves towards a more distinctly rock sound and presents another element to their dazzling artistry.
Opening the track is an addictive up-tempo electro guitar melody, alongside a dynamic percussive beat. And with a vibrant rock-led sound, the track gives off a distinctly feel-good vibe. With a narrative that many will be able to relate to – listeners and artists alike – the track sees the band deliver a not so hidden metaphor for the feeling the get when playing live; something we are all very much missing. Instantly captivating listeners with a vibrant and high energy soundscape, the dynamic instrumental highlights their artistic talents, and is accompanied by their relatable, skilled and down-to-earth lyricism.
As the band looks to the future, they have an exciting nation-wide tour scheduled to support Wrexham rockers, The Royston Club, in conjunction with promotion company Modern Age. And as we head into 2021; next year will also see the band secure a support slot for the wonderful Junodream, at the Boileroom in Guildford
A fantastic year for The Motive, the band have firmly showcased their artistic skills and talent and highlighted themselves as an exciting artist to watch.
