Hot on the heels of her earlier EP “perception of you” released at the end of 2024, TIMEA returns with her latest single “waiting for magic”. Since her debut in 2020, the indie singer–songwriter has quickly garnered significant acclaim and recognition from national radio’s who quickly deemed her a rising star. However, her live performances are just as noteworthy, with TIMEA having performed on stages across Europe and the UK. Now with her debut album in the works, TIMEA is hoping to continue her rise to stardom with the release of her latest teaser track “waiting for magic”.
The single opens with a gentle acoustic guitar, creating an airy tone that drifts effortlessly through the soundscape. TIMEA’s soft vocals soon after intertwine with the folk-enthused instrumentation. Whilst discussing her latest track, TIMEA shares “’waiting for magic’ is a dive into falling in love and confessing to surrender. I tried to capture the sense of peace and something surreal that surrounds new love. I had quite a hard time for a while due to a family tragedy and falling in love kind of reminded me that there is still so much magic in the world. It was/is the best reminder I could get and I just really wanted to capture that in the song.”
