The follow-up to ‘Everything You Do’, released back in 2023, Arlesque is back as he unveils his striking new single ‘Eros’. Landing somewhere between a Del Rey-esque pop anthem and an emotional ballad, the single sees the artist begin to come into their own.
‘Eros’ unfolds as an almost mystical slice of contemporary pop music, navigating the highs and lows of love and its ever-fleeting nature. Socially, the single takes cues from the likes of BANKS and Lana Del Rey, not forgetting to turn away from an almost dream-pop-esque soundscape of emotion and synthesis. Clocking in at just under four minutes, the single arrives brimming with energy and a raw, unfiltered passion, reinforcing Arlesque as a defiant sonic craftsman.

I was convinced that such vivid, all-consuming passion was beyond my reach, but I was so wrong. This romance reignited me, blazing with an intensity that felt so alive. Yet, deep in my heart, I wondered if this is a flame destined to fade with the summer’s end?
