Continuing to break the mould in 2025, Tim Kollberg is back as he looks to bring the heat on his latest single, ‘Acid Breaks’. The latest in a long string of releases this year, Kollberg looks to make a name for himself as he heads into the new year, calling you to the dancefloor in the process.
Pushing the boundaries of contemporary EDM, ‘Acid Break’ peers out of the speakers with a vivid finesse and an expansive sense of rhythm. Coupling slick, brooding atmospheres with an entrancing, bouncy percussion, the single highlights the intensity of the German-born creative’s artistry. Making a promising move as he approaches 2026, the producer’s knack for crafting irresistible melodies hopes to take him to the top of his game.
Diving into the creative process behind the release, he explains, “This release actually came together through shared hashtags on Soundcloud, where I discovered Ziggy V´Niles and his style. After listening to his productions multiple times, I realised that we embody the same musical spirit. I immediately contacted him, presented my sound, and we quickly found a collaboration. Initially, my idea was to capture the track in its entirety with subtle yet concise acid lines. Through the skilful groove that Ziggy brought, which is very close to RAW techno, we were able to create a commonality in the track.”
