Having teased its release throughout the year, Tony & The Kiki are back as they look to step out to celebrate the glitz and glamour of their new EP, ‘Fornication Under Consent of Queens’. Having caught the attention of the likes of Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper, the New York-based outfit are looking to put its stamp on glam-rock, and there’s no stopping them.
Coupling glammed-up toplines with a cinematic, rock-enthused charm, ‘FUCQ Vol 1’ highlights Tony & the Kiki as a band who know how to have a good time. With its charm oozing out of its dynamic, colourful backbone, each of the project’s five offerings stands tall with its emphatic sonic qualities. The project comes packaged with the bands previously released teaser singles, including the expansive anthem ‘Keep Shinin’ On’ that even earned a remix from the award-winning Dave Aude. As the band move closer to 2026, it seems their momentum is unstoppable/
Diving into the record, Tony, the band’s frontperson, explains, “I love this little record we made so damn much- we wanted to come back to releasing music in a way that felt singular to us. Something eclectic and rockin’ and dancey – a fantasy rooted in the grit of NYC – at the intersection of a dank rock club and a glittering disco floor.“
